I’ve thought about this a lot: summarizing 2014 in photos. But I don’t want to start 2015 thinking about 2014. I don’t want to post photos of a year that in hours will be gone. I want to move forward. I want to learn, I want to try new things & I want to share all of it with those of you that have taken the time to repeatedly come back to this space. So stay tuned – it’s going be great!
Wishing you all a happy & healthy 2015!
The original plan: enjoy dinner at Joe Beef and go see Interpol at the Metropolis Thursday night and scope out the street art/graffiti scene on Friday. This had been the plan for months and I had been looking forward to it since the day I bought the Interpol tickets back in July (the 18th to be exact).
Well Mother Nature is an asshole and Interpol was stuck on the highway in the snow for over 50 hours causing the cancellation of their Toronto, Montreal and Boston shows. I won’t lie – it totally sucked that they couldn’t make it to Montreal and I still can’t listen to them because my heart still hurts but they will be back and I will be there!
So, we went to the Habs game (they won!) and walked St. Laurent on the hunt for some graffiti and street art. It was cold but the effects were only felt after two and a half hours of walking. The sun was out though and as always, the Montreal hospitality warmed my heart! I love that city.
I took a lot of snaps so I thought it would be best to divide them up into two posts. Part two will be up next Sunday!
